Thanks for stopping by! I’m so excited you’re here! I am Cori – the owner and creative director of Cori Cook Floral Design! My world is my family and flowers and I am so grateful for this beautiful life. My heart and desire is that as you spend time exploring this journal, that you too, would be inspired to live your own kind of beautiful life! Cheers!
I am super excited to share these photos from a wedding I did in March. Debbie is one of the most creative brides I have ever had AND my new favorite person in general! She is amazing. And so is her new hubby, Micah!
This wedding was particularly fun for me to do because although I love floral design, here’s a little secret about me: I am passionate about event design in general. So, anytime I have the chance to also assist in choosing linens, lighting, props, and designing dessert bars…in addition to designing the flowers for the event, I jump at the chance!
This wedding was fun and unique for me because most of the arrangements were made out of tissue flowers! We held a few “tissue flower mania nights” in which I taught her bridesmaids how to make these beauties and in no time we had hundreds of little tissue flower treasures (thank you, Martha Stewart).
Debbie & Micah had a dessert reception, so Debbie and I designed three sweet (no pun intended!) dessert table set ups! Some of my other favorite design elements included a hanging program, an aspen branch chandelier (designed by the bride herself!), fabric panels, lots of fun fabrics, and bright, spring colors!
A VERY special thanks to one of my fav photographers in Colorado, Dawn Sparks, for capturing the wedding and Debbie & Micah’s personality so beautifully! And to the other amazing vendors involved in this lovely wedding:
Venue: Mile High Station
Photography: Dawn Sparks
Event Coordination & Design: Janette Rasor
Floral Design & Dessert Bar Design: Cori Cook Floral Design
Makeup: Danica Jardien
Hair Stylist: Sara Collishaw at No. 55 Salon
Enjoy the pics and please leave a comment!
The amazing belt that Debbie wore on her gown. So, so fun!
Debbie’s Bouquet, made of balsa wood flowers, dried and sparkly baby’s breath, ostrich feathers, and dusty miller! What a beauty!
One of the dessert displays before all the desserts were out!
Debbie & Micah’s first “moment”.
Really, really liked the guys’ grey suits and patterned orange and cranberry ties!
Debbie & Micah: It has been so fun getting to know you two. Congratulations! You two are an absolute power couple and I really can’t wait to see the way God works in your marriage. I’m also excited to hang out as married friends (:
