How do I know Cori Cook Floral Design is the right fit for me?
We begin the floral design process with a complimentary consultation. This meeting is important for getting to know each other, discussing design ideas and budget expectations, and sharing the overall feel of the event. This consultation is a great place for me to answer any questions about my background, process, or design aesthetic. I also encourage my clients to peruse my portfolio to get a feel for my style and aesthetic.
Will I see a proposal before I book?
No. Like most design-centered businesses, we do not begin the work of designing for our clients until we have been hired. Our proposal (or “Design Concept” as we affectionately call it) is a design document blueprinting the details for the unique floral designs for your wedding. A Design Concept typically takes 40+ hours to assemble and includes hours of research into pricing, availability, seasonality, mechanics, and original design. For that reason, we do not give away our Design Concept until we have been hired for a wedding with a signed contract and first deposit of $1000.
Do you work in Tennessee and Colorado? Do you travel outside these states?
Yes! Cori Cook Floral Design originated in Colorado and now resides in Tennessee and therefore does weddings in both states. We are also happy to travel wherever beautiful weddings are happening. If you are interested in booking us for a travel wedding, please email cori@coricook.com.
Does Cori Cook Floral Design book multiple weddings on a weekend?
No. Our policy is to book only one wedding per weekend so that our attention can be fully focused on our clients for that weekend. We also limit the number of weddings we take over the course of a year so that our clients are treated carefully, responded to quickly, and overall served generously.
Do you have a minimum budget?
Yes. Because we specialize in weddings with a high value on floral design, your minimum investment begins at $20,000.
