Not Your Grandma’s Bridal Bouquet

When it comes to weddings these days, anything goes. Brides everywhere are throwing caution to the wind and being bold, being beautiful, and being themselves. So naturally floral design for weddings should follow suit, right? Wrong! A large percentage of floral designers are doing the same old, boring, and traditional designs. So make it a priority to hire a floral designer for your wedding that is up-to-date on wedding style and is sure to create designs as stylish and distinctive as you. One of my favorite ways to add personality and charm to your wedding flowers is by dressing up your personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnières, corsages) with all sorts of flair. Here are a few of my favorite ideas:

  • GO VINTAGE!  Gone are the days of boring hand-tied bouquets tied with large bows. Talk to your floral designer about dressing up your hand-tied bouquet by adding a vintage brooch, a piece of your mother’s wedding gown lace, a monogram, or a ruffle border.
